ABOUT THE JOB: We are currently seeking a Dropship Category Manager to join with our award-winning Digital team.Reporting to the Head of Dropship, this role is responsible for the daily management and growth of assigned Dropship Categories within the Harvey Norman Dropship division.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast moving & growing division within the Digital team and contribute to the development of our business in Ireland.
YOUR JOB your tasks will include but will not be limited to: Drive the Dropship on-boarding of ranges, including maximising profitability and selection expansion opportunities in a thorough, organised, and timely manner.
Source new verticals and onboard new product categories in line with brand guidelines.
Working with multiple integrated systems in order to maintain and load new products online.
Co-ordinate meetings with potential, new, and existing suppliers as required.
Negotiate new supplier contracts as required, building strong ongoing productive working relationships.
Assisting with the sign-up process from communicating Trading Terms and conditions through to ensuring the products are live and pricing is correct and updated as required.
Relationship building and developing strong working productive relationships with colleagues and business partners.
Providing assistance to all relevant internal teams for your products or suppliers.
Plan, develop and instigate promotional activities and strategies.
Providing clear communication of promotional activities and strategies with the relevant stakeholders and suppliers.
Meet and exceed service level agreements and expectations.
Ensuring that there is escalation of any issues to management for resolution, including responding promptly to customer enquiries and follow through on any updates.
Liaison within all levels within the organisation to cross-functional teams including merchant, suppliers, and online teams to drive the supplier, range and product on-boarding, promotional planning and management for all online and Dropship items and suppliers.
Reporting for relevant stakeholders as required.
Including predicting and forecasting upcoming trends and communicate them to the relevant stakeholders.
Grow supplier funded campaigns both onsite and in digital marketing as required.
Comply with procedures and processes essential to achieving best practice within required timeframes.
Attend and actively participate at staff meetings and training sessions.
Attend approved training courses relevant to professional and personal development.
Attend and present at relevant conferences.
Other duties as reasonably directed.
YOUR PROFILE your knowledge, skills, and experience include: Experience and Qualifications - Well developed knowledge of online sales and operations, and experience in Dropship is preferable.
Experience with stock management programs and strong project management skills.
Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Experience within a large retail organisation/environment involving multiple business sites.
Excellent communication skills with ability to build and develop relationships.
Experience in dealing with a variety of audiences with differing perspectives and levels of expertise.
Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail with an investigative mind.

Additional Information: This is a permanent contract subject to a six-month probationary period.
This role is based in our Head Office in Swords, Co. Dublin.
