Located in our Cork office, the successful candidate will join the Service Desk team, providing the first point of contact for customers, service managers, and engineers. Responsibilities include handling administrative tasks and supporting day-to-day operations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
Sirus is an Irish headquartered HVAC, BMS & Energy Efficiency Solutions and Service provider in buildings. We have been providing service to the HVAC, Electrical and Controls industry for over 30 years. We have a distributed team of over 120 staff who all have a part to play in delivering and maintaining compliant, comfortable workspaces and energy-efficient buildings in partnership with our customers, other service providers and suppliers.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Analyze maintenance contracts, costings and allowances, highlight any discrepancies.
* Develop and manage detailed maintenance schedules.
* Coordinate with the Service Desk Manager, Service Managers and Customer to prioritize and plan maintenance activities.
* Order consumables in a timely manner in line with the contract.
* Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and enhance scheduling efficiency.
* Create and update jobs on our CRM system.
* Answer the Service Desk Support phone.
* Generate and issue POs.
* Liaise with Service Engineers and Service Managers on daily maintenance tasks.
* Respond to customer queries.
* Generate status reports for customers and update customer platforms.
* Review PPM reports to flag follow-on requirements.
* Prepare maintenance jobs to be sent to accounts for invoicing.
* Report to the Service Desk Manager daily.
* Perform general admin office duties.
Requirements
* Desirable skillset would be some level of experience in scheduling (delivery and status of reactive and planned tasks using procedures and methods).
* Attention to detail and processes, strong analytical capabilities.
* Maintain clear and excellent customer service skills at all times.
* Strong problem-solving and good decision-making skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
* Have a very good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
* The successful candidate must have fluent English with excellent interpersonal skills.
* 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Training & Growth
Company sponsorship of relevant training (all business/company relevant courses in a related discipline are encouraged).
* Requirement to travel to our Dublin office from time to time for training and team meetings.
REMUNERATION & CONDITIONS
* Salary commensurate with experience.
* Located in our Cork office Centre Point, Marina Commercial Park, Cork for the duration of the probationary period with the option to transition to a hybrid pattern on agreement with the line manager thereafter.
* Performance-based bonus paid annually.

Pay: €33,000.00-€36,000.00 per year
