ABOUT THE JOB: As part of the finance team, reporting to the Financial Controller, you will have responsibility for all tax compliance and reporting. You will work closely with the CFO and FC to provide assurance that the companys tax policies and procedures are as required to ensure compliance with tax legislation and the company tax framework. The role will also support our growing UK store network, currently 3 stores. You will work with key stakeholders in all areas of the business. The role would suit a person who has experience in a similar fast-moving environment. Your tasks will include: Tax compliance for all entities (Ireland and UK). Providing tax technical advice across all tax headings. Developing and maintaining strong tax controls and processes. Providing VAT advice on products/services. Managing current and deferred tax provisions. Transfer pricing reporting requirements. Preparation of various tax returns and tax computations. Relationship management of external tax advisors. Management of audits and enquiries from tax authorities. Completion of statistical reporting requirement to Irish Revenue and HMRC. Supporting the financial reporting team, as required. This list is not exhaustive, and other duties will be assigned as required. YOUR PROFILE: Your knowledge, skills, and experience include: Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, ideally with a minimum of 4-5 years experience in a tax focused role, with the ability to work to corporate reporting deadlines. Practice background in audit and taxation roles VAT and corporation tax experience in Ireland essential. Financial Accounting /Management accounting experience High Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling Experience with SAP highly desirable. Excellent reporting skills.
