The company operates through several market-leading companies including Tri-anim Health Services, the largest specialty distributor of respiratory products, Bound Tree Medical, the largest supplier of EMS products, and Cardio Partners, a full Sudden Cardiac Arrest Solution provider, and Digitech, the leader in EMS revenue cycle management.Hybrid Schedule: M&F Remote, T-Th office basedResponsibilitiesSummary:The Senior Product Manager - Services & Solutions is responsible for leading and managing the full product lifecycle for Bound Tree Medical business through key marketing and communication strategies that support revenue growth and business objectives for Sarnova’s Emergency Preparedness business unit. The Senior Product Manager will work to develop and enhance new and existing tools and processes and serve as a mentor for other Product Managers. The Senior Product Manager will supervise an Associate Product Manager.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesForecast, track and adjust profit and loss statements to ensure that new product and/or channel launches meet financial goals. Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Accounting, and Operations to ensure the accurate tracking and management of revenue, COGS, and marketing spend.Develop, present and implement portfolio business plans for assigned product portfolio and market channels including management of pricing, supplier relationships, go-to-market strategies, and product positioning.Create, execute and manage Sarnova marketing programs and materials to include online initiatives, advertising, sales force support materials, trade show marketing efforts, and supplier marketing programs.Develop and manage messaging strategies for new products and channels.Drive messaging integration by collaborating with Marketing and Sales to instill a passion for product; establish and own the relationship with product manufacturer.Enhance existing marketing processes and develop new tools and programs to accelerate profitable revenue of the Bound Tree Medical business; complete special projects and ad hoc requests as needed.Manage external relationships with vendors to ensure common vision and strategy.Work with private label and branded counterparts to identify consolidation and sourcing opportunities that ensure product/component availability and improve portfolio profitability; consult with vendors to identify product opportunities and manage product pipeline; act as liaison to vendors throughout product life cycle.Negotiate and maintain product sourcing and distribution agreements with vendor partners.Collaborate with vendor partners, Sales, and customers to vet and launch new products.Utilize sales data, market data, pricing strategies, customer segmentation and competitive intelligence to identify new opportunities and markets to support the expansion of new products and channels that drive new revenue streams and build brand equity; direct and develop all tactics and activities that support brand development and growth.Supervision of one to two Associate Product Managers along with providing guidance to other Product Managers on marketing and communication strategies.Foster a positive work environment and resolve conflicts.Set performance goals, conduct reviews and provide constructive feedback.Mentor and train employees to enhance their skills and career growth.Additional job duties as assigned.Skills/Experience RequiredEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.Minimum of 7-10 years marketing experience in positions with product/category management, positioning, customer segmentation, pricing and communication strategies.Experience in a value-added distribution industry, business-to-business selling environment, or the health care products industry desired.Understanding of new product launch processes, product extensions coupled with an innovative, entrepreneurial mindset.Experience with large project planning and project management and the ability to lead project teams and influence functions outside of the marketing team.Experience with vendor contracts and supplier management.Strong business acumen with ability to plan and forecast on a national level and by product category.Advance planning capabilities including exceptional financial and data analytic skills.Experience working with and directing creative strategies and tactics.Strong people leadership experience.Solid communication skills, including the ability to collaborate, influence and communicate at all levels.Exceptional project management skills with a detail orientation.Computer literacy: Microsoft Office Suite and CRM.Demonstrated positive energy to effectively represent products/brand internally and externally.Ability to independently manage all aspects of the job role including required goals and business practices in a remote environment.Sarnova is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
