Position Overview: As a Senior Cisco Consultant, you will play a key role in driving clients pre-sales initiatives while supporting the delivery of tailored network solutions. This customer-facing role requires an individual with strong pre-sales experience coupled with strong technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and design tailored Cisco solutions to address their needs.
* Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions to articulate the value of Cisco solutions to prospective clients.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive solution proposals, including detailed technical specifications and competitive insights.
Solution Design and Implementation:
* Architect, configure, and deploy Cisco-based solutions (e.g., routing, switching, security, collaboration) to ensure alignment with client objectives and technical specifications.
* Assist in project planning, ensuring technical deliverables are met on time and within scope.
* Provide oversight and guidance to junior team members to ensure high standards of delivery and technical integrity.
Client Relationship Management:
* Serve as a trusted advisor for clients, understanding their business and technical challenges to foster long-term relationships.
* Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Maintain an ongoing dialogue with clients to gather feedback, address concerns, and identify future opportunities for IT improvement.
Requirements:
* Certifications: CCNA or CCNP is an advantage but not essential
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cisco networking, with pre sales experience
* Technical Expertise: Strong skills in Cisco routing, switching, security, and/or collaboration technologies.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; confident presenting to clients and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to translate client needs into technically sound and cost-effective solutions.
* Customer-Centric Attitude: Dedication to client success with a consultative, solutions-oriented approach.
