Job Description:
The Electrical Contracts Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects by overseeing project development, implementation and coordination. This position works closely with the Project Manager to deliver key milestones and complete projects within specified programmes.
The responsibilities of this role include:
* Reporting to the General Manager, Operations Director and Division Director.
* Managing all financial and management aspects of the project.
* Overseeing the project team, labour control and coordination.
* Responsibility for schedule, QA/Cx and Health and Safety.
* Ability to manage multiple projects as required.
* Liaising with Clients and key project stakeholders when necessary.
* Working directly with Directors to expand the business through tendering and negotiating new work.
* Reviewing tender submissions, valuation preparation and reporting on same.
* Maintaining and developing relationships with Clients.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* A minimum of 5+ years' experience in a similar role is essential.
* An electrical trade background is advantageous.
* Experience in delivering Pharma, Life Science, Data Centre Mission critical and or Renewable projects is advantageous.
* Ability to lead and mentor a cross-functional team is essential.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office is required.
* Experience in Revit is advantageous.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
* Ability to work with minimum supervision, within a fast-paced team environment.
