Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Sales Manager to manage and maintain our existing customer base, while expanding further with new clients and projects as they arise.
The successful candidate will be required to support customers with technical requirements and solutions using innovative products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive and deliver sales plans in conjunction with the Sales Director to ensure sales targets are achieved.
* Interact with customers and manufacturers regarding product specifications.
* Sell the company's product range to existing and potential customers.
* Maintain a good understanding of CRM systems and their importance to the business.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Forecast and engage with internal colleagues to ensure the availability of products.
* Expedite the resolution of customer issues, ensuring the best outcome for customers and the company.
* Maintain sales quotations, price files, and customer contacts as appropriate.
* Update the Sales Director on all projects regularly.
* Commit to best practice, with a strong focus on quality, H&S, and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
* A relevant industry qualification or engineering degree would be an advantage.
* Self-motivated with strong negotiation, planning, and consultative sales skills.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
