Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Waterford. The successful candidate will provide a support service to the site, ensuring maintenance and repairs are carried out in compliance with relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to emergency breakdowns across the site, requiring Engineering Technician expertise.
* Maintain knowledge of complex systems, including Steam boilers, Heating hot water boilers, Chilled Water, Purified water, pre-treatment systems, Reverse osmosis, Quality critical HVAC systems, Compressed Air, chillers, cooling towers, sanitary hot water, vacuum pumps, Crac units, refrigeration systems, sprinkler systems, waste systems, and pumps.
* Repair equipment, machinery, and plant as quickly and safely as possible, adhering to all safety systems.
* Carry out work orders generated through the CMMS system, meeting service level agreements.
* Liaise with Clients to determine mechanical requirements and offer repair or alternative solutions.
* Assist with ordering supplies for work and projects.
* Perform routine planned, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks, utilizing vibration analysis, ultrasonic testing, and thermal imaging.
* Evaluate and document maintenance activities to cGMP standards when necessary.
Requirements:
* Familiarity with SAP is essential.
* Good communication skills, with the ability to develop customer relationships and address needs diplomatically.
* Ability to work effectively with team members and lead technicians.
* Flexibility to work overtime on request, including shift positions.
* Adherence to safe systems of work, understanding of LOTO, and taking reasonable care of personal and others' health and safety.
