Location:Cork, Ireland (On-site) Salary:€38,000 €45,000 (DOE) Contract Type:Full-time Driving License: Full, clean driving license required Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day technical support, assisting with troubleshooting across hardware, software, and network systems. Install, configure, and maintain a wide range of IT equipment and applications. Proactively identify and resolve technical issues for internal users. Collaborate with the IT team on innovative projects that drive operational efficiency and digital transformation. Contribute to the development and enhancement of key systems including the Port Management Information System (PMIS), Terminal Operating System (TOS), and other business-critical platforms. Explore emerging technologies providing recommendations. Implement cybersecurity enhancements in line with strategic partner recommendations. Support users through all phases of project delivery, from data management and testing to training and post-launch support. Assist in documenting IT processes and procedures to support operational excellence. Candidate Profile: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years' experience in an IT support or systems-focused role. Strong technical skills combined with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Previous experience with technologies or solutions relevant to a port or logistics environment is advantageous. A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow into a key member of the IT team. Full, clean driving license is essential due to the on-site nature of the role.
