The position also focuses on the effective coordination and implementation of the Site Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Program to maintain a safe working environment.Key Responsibilities:Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) ManagementDevelop, implement, and continuously improve the site's LOTO program.Monitor and evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of the LOTO program.Conduct risk assessments, create LOTO procedures, and deliver training to relevant personnel.Audit LOTO permits and risk assessments for compliance.Behavioral Safety InitiativesDrive the development and maintenance of a strong safety-first culture.Support the site's behavioral safety program, ensuring effective implementation and evolution.EHS Management System SupportAssist in the execution of key site health and safety initiatives (Contractor Management, Behavioral Program, LOTO, Emergency Response) and environmental targets outlined in the EHS Roadmap.Compliance & TrainingEnsure compliance with all regulatory and corporate health, safety, and environmental guidelines.Monitor training requirements for LOTO and organize or deliver training sessions, ensuring records are maintained.Performance Monitoring & ReportingOversee the monitoring and analysis of LOTO performance, ensuring adherence to site policies.Administer and calculate performance data related to LOTO, driving improvements where necessary.Incident Management & Risk AssessmentProvide guidance and coaching during incident investigations, ensuring appropriate preventative actions are implemented.Conduct EHS risk assessments and audits, identifying and mitigating potential risks.Prepare mitigation plans to address risks, which may include process modifications, SOP revisions, or additional training.Project Design & DeliverySupport key site objectives including confined space, working at height, chemical management, contractor oversight, and ISO 14001 compliance.Analyze and interpret key process data, delivering actionable insights.Ensure clear communication at all levels of the organization, facilitating both top-down and bottom-up channels.Cultural LeadershipFoster a 'safety-first' culture with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.Support high standards of safety, hygiene, and quality throughout the site.Requirements• A third-level qualification in Engineering, Health and Safety, or a related discipline.• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.• Experience with Lock Out Tag Out programs is preferred.• Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver training and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.• Proficiency in MS Office tools and the ability to record, interpret, and analyze key process data.• Excellent verbal, written, and numerical skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
