Job Title: General Manager
Reports to: The Directors of the Rotunda Foundation
About Us
The Rotunda Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Rotunda Hospital, a registered charity focused on supporting maternal and child health.
We fund research, provide equipment on the Rotunda Hospitals Wish List, support specialist clinics, and improve the hospitals infrastructure and general amenities for staff and patients.
Job Summary
The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Rotunda Foundation, ensuring that it grows and meets its objectives.
You'll be responsible for managing the team and working with external partners.
A key part of the role is generating new revenue streams, especially through the rental of the historic Pillar Room Complex.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the day-to-day operations of the Rotunda Foundation, from strategy to execution.
2. Manage a small team and various external vendors.
3. Ensure the Foundations objectives are met in line with its mission.
4. Act as the primary representative and advocate for the Foundation, collaborating with the Board, Hospital staff, donors and all stakeholders.
5. Foster a culture of innovation, transparency and accountability.
6. Ensure compliance with all regulations and governance standards.
7. Lead fundraising and business development strategies to drive long-term growth.
8. Develop and implement strategies for the Pillar Room Complex.
9. Manage marketing, promotions and the Foundations online presence.
10. Oversee finances, including auditing, budgeting and grant applications.
11. Work with the Board to assess the Foundations ongoing resource needs.
Preferred Qualifications
While we understand the perfect candidate might not meet all of these, heres what were looking for:
* 5+ years of management or leadership experience.
* Experience in the charity or related sector.
* A degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a relevant field.
* Strong relationship-building skills at a senior level.
* Experience in business development and PR/marketing.
* Experience in event management, CRM, website management and income generation is a plus.
* Ability to manage finances and understand governance in charity organisations.
* Self-driven, innovative and able to inspire a team.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
Terms of Employment
Salary: €60k - €75k (depending on experience).
Full-time position with pension contribution.
20 days of annual leave plus public holidays, Good Friday and Christmas Eve (if applicable).
Flexible and hybrid working options available.
Probation: 6 months.
