The Solution Architect (Intermediate) will work closely with IT project managers, architects, and delivery teams to ensure high-quality, well-governed designs. This hybrid role requires 50% onsite presence in Dublin 1, with an anticipated start date of 6th May 2025.Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30Location: Hybrid (50% onsite in Dublin 1)Contract Duration: 12 MonthsKey Responsibilities:Lead solution design activities with IT project and delivery teams, providing technical expertise and influencing stakeholder decisions.Develop solution designs and documentation aligned with project scope, architectural strategy, and governance principles.Conduct due diligence on solution options, ensuring compliance with security, infrastructure, service delivery, and quality standards.Support the preparation of functional requirements and lead the definition of non-functional requirements.Collaborate with other architects, IT delivery teams, and external partners to drive effective solution design and delivery.Contribute to project planning by estimating work effort and managing solution-related risks.4–6 years’ experience as a Solution Architect, delivering technical solutions for complex business needs.Strong knowledge of solution design across database, backend, integration, and UX layers.Proven ability to engage and influence senior business and IT stakeholders.Experience designing solutions using the Microsoft stack (.NET, MS SQL Server, MS Dynamics 365, Angular).Familiarity with Microsoft Azure platform services and cloud-native, hybrid, or migration solutions.High proficiency in English (verbal and written); a C2 certification may be required for non-native speakers.Relevant qualifications: A diploma or degree in IT is preferred.Knowledge of architectural modeling tools and frameworks like EA Sparx and TOGAF is beneficial.This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape technical solutions and collaborate across teams to drive business value.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting
