We are looking for an experienced, talented, hardworking Breakfast Chef to join our award-winning kitchen team, led by the Executive Head Chef, Dervilla O’Flynn.
The successful candidate loves to cook, can work independently, and takes pride in what they produce. The hours of work are 07:00 to 16:00 and include breakfast and lunch service. We are looking for a candidate with 2 years of relevant experience, basic HACCP training, and is a fluent English speaker.
Our menus change often, and we cook with seasonal produce from the walled garden and local producers. Read more about our farm-to-fork principles.
Primary duties will include:
* Preparing food before breakfast and lunch service.
* Setting up and stocking kitchen stations.
* Plating cooked foods.
* Breakfast buffet and cooked breakfast menu preparation and assisting the kitchen team with food production for lunch.
* Ensuring all dishes are prepared in a timely fashion and to a high standard and presentation.
* Wrapping and storing unused food stock at the end of the shift.
* Adhering to Health & Safety procedures.
* Complying with food hygiene practices and food safety standards (HACCP).
* Attending training within the Department as required.
* Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen after service.
