Job Description:
As a Plumbing Counter Supervisor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, assisting them at the counter with product selection, handling orders, and providing knowledgeable advice. With a strong customer service focus, you’ll help create a positive shopping experience by guiding customers through our extensive plumbing product range. This position offers fantastic growth potential as we invest in your professional growth with training and support to equip you with the skills needed to lead a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with product selection, providing guidance on plumbing materials and solutions.
* Sales: Assist customers with purchases, handle transactions accurately, and promote relevant products.
* Product Knowledge: Stay informed about our products to offer reliable recommendations and keep customers up-to-date.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience and efficient counter operations.
* Order Processing: Assist with customer orders, including phone orders, and special requests, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
* Progression and Training: Participate in on-the-job training and training programs.
* Inventory Control: Assist in stock management, including monitoring stock levels, and restocking shelves.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in Retail or Plumbing: Previous experience in counter sales, plumbing supply, or similar retail environment.
* Customer-Focused: Friendly, helpful, and able to create a welcoming environment.
* Knowledge of Plumbing Products: Understanding of plumbing materials and products is beneficial.
* Organised and Detail-Oriented: Able to manage multiple tasks effectively and maintain a tidy, and organised workspace.
* Ambition and Motivation: Eager to learn, grow, and advance within the company.
* Problem Solver: Proactive and resourceful in helping customers find solutions to their needs.
* Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using basic software for sales and inventory management.
