Job Description
Our client, a well-established organisation in Kildare, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a multifunctional team.
This individual will be responsible for overseeing the installations, repairs, and upkeep of their state-of-the-art food production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive plant efficiencies and resolve maintenance issues identified through the Computerised Maintenance Management System (FLEX).
* Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve plant performance.
* Collaborate with the production team to ensure site schedules are met and engineering solutions are provided for recurring maintenance issues.
* Oversee the maintenance team's development, ensuring continuous improvement and upskilling.
* Manage and control the maintenance budget, purchase orders, and supplier relationships.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role within a maintenance environment.
* Strong electrical qualification with practical industrial experience.
* Proven track record in project management and operational efficiency.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.
* Experience in lean methodologies and a results-oriented mindset.
