About the Role:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Safety Advisor to join a leading construction contractor working on a project in South Dublin. This is a fantastic role for a motivated individual looking to develop their career in construction health and safety within a supportive and professional environment.
The successful candidate will assist the site team in implementing and maintaining the highest safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Site Manager and Safety Officer in promoting a culture of safety on-site.
* Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the company's health and safety policies.
* Conduct site safety inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including risk assessments and method statements.
* Deliver toolbox talks and provide guidance to site personnel on safety best practices.
* Report and follow up on any safety incidents or near misses.
Requirements:
* Qualification in Health & Safety or a related field (Diploma or Degree preferred).
* 1-2 years of experience in a construction safety role (preferred but not essential).
* Knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a dynamic site environment.
