Location: The Highline, Pottery Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin
Education: Third Level Engineering Qualification
(Level 8 or higher)
Type of Position: Permanent full-time position
Experience: Minimum 5 years
This position is responsible for the development of civil design and construction management of the project. The candidate should have the ability to manage and work efficiently within a team of engineers and modelers to develop the design and construction documentation. On site, the engineer will be responsible for reviewing technical submissions, RFI responses, inspections, and liaising with the client and contractors.
Duties will include:
1. Manage the project and the project team from inception to completion.
2. Act as a Senior Civil Engineer as part of Multidiscipline Design Teams.
3. Provide design input and oversight of the delivery of all Civil aspects of projects.
4. Prepare project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction Stage).
5. Communicate with internal and external parties.
6. Lead the preparation of design drawings.
7. Undertake duties of the Assigned Certifier and Ancillary Certifier.
8. Be a Chartered Engineer.
9. Exhibit good communication skills and the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
10. Have experience in the delivery of Civil Engineering Design.
11. Be proficient in MS Office Suite.
12. Be proficient in the use of civil design software.
13. Be proficient in the development of construction drawings and associated engineering reports.
