What is this role about?
Direct daily production of team under the guidance of Team Leader.
To apply good workmanship, ensure quality standards are maintained for the products both in the factory and at customers premises.
To adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.

What kind of work will you be doing in the Production Team Lead Support role:
Reporting to and fully supporting Production Team Leader. The role will encompass the following duties:
Direct daily production of Team under the guidance of Team Leader, involving the co-ordination of all technical aspects of fabrication of pre-Modular units and associated products whilst contributing to production schedule adherence.
Ensure 100% compliance on a daily basis with all safety and quality requirements, including the use of PPE for all associated work activities.
Anticipate and resolve production issues.
Full responsibility for ensuring housekeeping standards within your production section.
Set daily individual priorities for team members
Drive standards within the Team
Organise materials, equipment and all resources required for each project.
To apply good workmanship, ensure quality standards are maintained for the products both in the factory and at customers premises.
To adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.
Working from drawings, manuals, schematics etc.
Ability to work on own initiative
Sound knowledge of engineering tools and equipment
Maturity and engineering practicality
Ability to mentor and develop team members.
Apply good workmanship and ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
Report any substandard/ malfunction or defective parts.
Select measure and modify components to ensure component fit.
Ensure working environment and equipment are kept clean, tidy and in good condition.
Working to deadlines and strict adherence to Quality and H&S principles
Positive attitude, Flexible working O/T as required, and ability to fit in as part of a team.
Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.
Desirable Experience / Qualification Criteria:
In order to be considered / shortlisted for this position to interview stage, you will have attained experience / qualification in all the following areas as deemed essential for the position: -
Supervisory experience in any construction / production / manufacturing setting
Technical knowledge to read and work from drawings, Manuals, Blueprints, Schematics etc.
Experience in organising manpower and other resources to achieve targets
Willingness to flexible working including site working / rotations
Desirable Experience / Qualification Criteria:
Whilst not essential for the position, preferential consideration to interview stage will be provided to candidates who demonstrate experience / qualification in the below criteria:
Electrical knowledge as well as Mechanical would be advantageous.
Experience of Electrical switchgear manufacture or similar.
Experience of on field service work / on site installations.
Familiar with Risk Assessments and Method statements.
