Senior Physiotherapist Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Cheeverstown. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a physiotherapy caseload, supporting hydrotherapy programmes, and playing a key role in our falls management programme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a physiotherapy caseload consisting of neurological, musculoskeletal, and orthopaedic conditions, as well as 24-hour postural management and orthotic clinics for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.
* Support hydrotherapy programmes and play a key role in Cheeverstown's falls management programme.
* Support and train staff within both the MDT and the wider Cheeverstown staff team.
Requirements:
* Possess a diploma or degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised third level institution.
* Be registered as a Physiotherapist with CORU and maintain CORU registration.
* Have at least 3 years satisfactory post qualification experience, with experience in the disability sector an advantage.
* Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills together with up to date knowledge of current thinking and practice in services for people with intellectual disabilities.
* Be highly motivated, flexible and committed to working as part of a team.
* Have a full driver's licence and own vehicle.
About Us:
Cheeverstown provides Supported Living, Respite, New Directions, and employment supports to adults with intellectual disabilities. We offer a primary care type service for adults with intellectual disabilities who use Cheeverstown New Directions and supported living services.
Contract Details:
Fulltime, 35 hours, Monday-Friday. Permanent contract.
