This Financial Semi State body in Dublin 1 is seeking a Finance Systems Manager to join their team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a finance systems specialist to drive change and improvement within the Finance Technology and Operations team.
Key Responsibilities :
* Managing the operation and strategic direction of the company's key finance systems.
* Ensuring efficient system integrations and managing system upgrades.
* Leading a team, including task allocation and deadline management.
* Maintaining a controlled systems environment and troubleshooting issues.
* Providing training and support to finance system users.
* Leading process improvements and supporting the rollout of the Finance Strategy.
* Vendor contract management and supporting various projects within the team.
Key Skills and Requirements :
* At least 4 years in finance systems management.
* Experience with system upgrades/implementations preferred.
* Knowledge of AI and/or RPA considered an advantage.
* Systems and/or accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) beneficial.
* Proficiency in financial systems such as general ledger, Purchase2Pay, and fixed assets systems.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
* High level of initiative, motivation, and professionalism.
