Fixed Income Settlements Analyst
We are seeking a Fixed Income Settlements Analyst to join JP Morgan in Dublin on an initial 6 months contract.
The Fixed Income Settlements Analyst will primarily be supporting the USD bond distribution activities of J.P. Morgan Dublin PLC and managing the outsourced activities, along with assisting the wider trade support team in Bournemouth.
Main Responsibilities:
* Agreement of allotment summary with the Trading Desk to determine EEA client allocations and risk facing trades
* Booking of corresponding U.S. $-denominated bond issuance flows from JPMML to EEA investor clients in corporate risk management system
* Escalation of any failing trades to JPM EEA Sales and Marketing teams to assist in fails resolution
* Management oversight of all outsourced operational activities
* Trade Affirmation/Confirmation of all unmatched trades for a variety of trading desks across Credit and Rates and Syndicate businesses
* Questioning, automation and simplification of existing processes
* Exception monitoring and resolution, both on the day and root cause
* Frequent interaction with supported and supporting groups globally (Front Office, Settlements, Technology, CSD's, IPA's)
* Prompt investigation and resolution of trade queries and trading reports
* Some system migration work may also be required
Additional Activities:
* Drive operational change Management and Technology to increase automation and controls
* Involvement with market initiatives and implementing into existing processes where possible/beneficial
* Liaise with local regulatory body to address any issues raised
Key Skills:
* Fixed Income experience from a post trade environment extremely beneficial
* Good industry and operational knowledge of European Securities Markets
* Excellent communication - Much of the role requires dialogue with trading desks, operations and 3rd parties on a local and regional level
* Aptitude - Ability to quickly gain understanding of processes and purposes
* Time management - There are numerous deadlines and processes across the day and the candidate must be able to deal with issues and escalations in a fast paced environment
* Financial Numeracy - Competency to learn and apply financial concepts in order to resolve issues
* Team Work - The ability to work effectively as part of a team working to deliver against core business objectives such as improving settlement efficiency of Trade support
* Ability to work well under pressure is essential as there are significant operational losses associated with non-completion of daily processes
* Autonomy - Must be able to see processes or projects through to completion
Technical Competencies:
* Sound knowledge of mechanics of Fixed Income Securities end to end transaction lifecycle
* Competent in using risk management platforms for capturing key trade economics & operational details
* Understanding of Outsourcing regulations is advantageous

Contract Details:
* 6 months contract
* €250.00-€450.00 per day
* Monday to Friday schedule
* No weekends
