The Role:
We are currently recruiting a Clinical Specialist Sonographer to lead and deliver high-quality ultrasound services in our client’s Women’s Health Clinic. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior leadership role in a modern, well-supported setting. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to optimise services and contribute to clinical excellence and innovation in women’s health.
Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Specialist Sonographer:
1. Perform a wide range of advanced ultrasound scans to the highest clinical standards.
2. Lead and manage daily ultrasound operations, ensuring efficient workflow and quality assurance.
3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support integrated patient care.
4. Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and support their professional development.
5. Participate in clinical audits, service development initiatives, and research activities.
6. Ensure compliance with infection control, health & safety, and hospital protocols.
What You Need:
1. BSc in Radiography or equivalent, with minimum 6 years’ ultrasound experience
2. MSc in Ultrasound
3. CORU Registration (essential)
4. Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills
5. Commitment to continuous professional development and patient-centred care
