We have a new opportunity for a Site Manager to work with a leading building contractor on a new €20M healthcare project in South Dublin. The Site Manager will ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
This project will have a full team on site including a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Site Manager (x2), Site Engineer (x2) and a Health & Safety Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee all construction activities on site, ensuring that the project is progressing according to the agreed schedule and budget.
* Monitor and control project costs, including labour, materials, and equipment, to ensure that the project is completed within budget.
* Ensure that all work on site is carried out to the required quality standards and that all necessary health and safety measures are in place.
* Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that they are delivering on time and to the required standards.
* Liaise with the project team, including the client, architects, engineers, and consultants, to ensure that all project requirements are met.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily site reports, progress reports, and quality control reports.
* Provide regular progress reports to the project team and senior management, highlighting any issues or risks that may impact the project schedule or budget.
* Identify and resolve any problems or issues that arise on site, and escalate any major issues to senior management as required.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Manager working on large-scale building projects.
* Experienced working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors as a Site Manager.
* Experienced supervising all trades from groundworks to handover.
* Basic IT skills.
* Full Driver’s License.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
* Proven ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
