Buyer/Planner
Job Description

Key Responsibilities
* Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Manufacturing Planning System (MPS) for raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
* Ensure material supply aligns with plant schedules through effective purchasing management.
* Coordinate the purchasing process and collaborate with New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
* Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and Item Master data.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for the distribution center and manage CRM interactions.
* Develop scenario plans and coordinate materials aspects for NPIs.
* Work with Supply Chain members to meet target performance on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Implement inventory management and control processes.
* Liaise with transportation companies regarding deliveries and schedule them within warehouse capacities.
EHS Responsibilities
* Maintain adherence to Environmental Health & Safety standards and regulations.
* Participate actively in EHS programs and support compliance efforts.
* Report work-related injuries or illnesses to employee health and assist in investigations.
Requirements
* Certificate/Diploma/Degree in a related field or IPICS/IIPMM certification.
* Appropriate qualification in Purchasing/Production Planning, such as Diploma in Purchasing or APICS examinations.
* At least two years' experience in Supply Chain/Production Planning.
Accountability / Scope
The position involves decision-making within agreed responsibilities, with supervision received through meetings and one-on-one discussions with the Planning & Purchasing Manager.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
