Job Description
A Business System Analyst is sought for a permanent position with our client in Dublin. This role plays a pivotal part in bridging business requirements and technical solutions within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams to gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
* Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and recommend areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document functional and non-functional requirements.
* Support system enhancements, implementations, and upgrades related to T24 or mortgage systems.
* Work closely with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business needs.
* Conduct impact analysis and feasibility studies for new system changes.
* Assist in system configuration, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
* Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.
* Provide user training and ongoing system support to internal stakeholders.
* Document system processes, workflows, and key decision points.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst within the financial services or banking sector.
* Strong knowledge and experience working with T24 (Temenos) banking systems or mortgage systems.
* Proven experience in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
* Understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
* Experience with business process mapping, data analysis, and workflow automation.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Education:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related field.
