During your four-year apprenticeship, you'll become a fully qualified motor mechanic with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Motor Mechanics. This programme consists of 7 phases: 4 on-the-job and 3 off-the-job in a training facility. Your Mission As a motor mechanic, you'll be involved in servicing, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of light passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. You'll carry out routine service procedures as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer, as well as diagnose and resolve problems with the operation of the mechanical and electrical systems of vehicles.
