Our client, a rapidly growing innovative online retail company, is looking to hire an Order Processing Manager. This person will oversee all processes relating to the movement of goods from our offices to customers with responsibility for the training and management of the team.
This includes efficiently and accurately handling products, from receiving and storing goods to overseeing returned items. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are essential in managing day-to-day operations and improving processes where needed.
Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of processing goods inwards.
* Train team members involved in our fulfilment operations.
* Continuously monitor team performance and implement coaching and feedback strategies.
* Develop and optimise processes to improve efficiency and ensure error-free operations.
* Handle problem-solving across various fulfilment-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining operational flow.
* Forecast HR requirements to plan for growth and seasonal periods.
* Work closely with our customer service manager to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.
* Operate our Order management system and Carrier software.
* Manage return consignments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
* Maintain accurate records across our operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
* No experience is required in the fulfilment industry.
* Proven experience in managing teams.
* High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
* Experience in recruitment, hiring and training employees in an operations setting.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
* The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining high standards.
* Experience with fulfilment systems or software is a plus.
