Chanelle Pharma's Warehouse department plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials from receiving raw materials and packaging to shipping finished goods.
We offer a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with various areas of responsibility, including administration, goods inward & outward, sampling, and shipping.Location: Onsite at our Loughrea facility, 5 days per weekAs a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for: Ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse to meet manufacturing requirements.
This includes activities around receiving, storing, handling, and shipping raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
You will be expected to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) while ensuring accuracy and safety in all warehouse activities.Material Flow:Ensure continuous supply of raw materials and packaging to manufacturing, as well as handling finished goods for shipping.Goods Receiving & Sampling:Receive and inspect raw materials and third-party products, apply approved labels, and sample materials as needed.Picking & Staging:Pick and stage work orders for manufacturing across medical, veterinary, and dispensing divisions.Cycle Counting:Perform regular cycle counts of materials to ensure inventory accuracy.Material Handling:Safely handle and move pallets to and from manufacturing, and between buildings using warehouse vehicles.Shipping & Clearance:Manage the shipping process for medical and third-party products, including home veterinary items.
Clear pallets from production areas as needed.Housekeeping:Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by adhering to the "clean as you go" approach, ensuring that all areas (including offices, desks, floors, and racking) are kept in good condition.Documentation & Accuracy:Complete all paperwork legibly and neatly, as most tasks are paper-based.
Ensure that documentation is accurate and up to date.Compliance & Safety:Follow all SOPs and adhere to GMP policies.
Report any incidents or accidents immediately to the Team Lead / Manager and complete incident forms for the Health & Safety Officer.Communication & Teamwork:Maintain good communication with your team and other departments, both verbally and in writing.
Respect your colleagues and foster a positive team environment.Reporting & Issue Resolution:Communicate any operational issues to your Team Lead / Manager and assist in resolving them promptly.Education & Experience:Previous experience working in a GMP warehouse environment is preferred.Knowledge of EU GMP and US FDA guidelines is an advantage.Proficiency in using computers, including Word and Excel.Forklift and turret truck licenses are a plus but not essentialExperience using warehouse management systems or basic computer proficiency desirable. Skills & Competencies: Strong team player with excellent communication skills.Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently with attention to detailDemonstrated ability to follow policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.Health & Safety Requirements: Manual Handling Training is required for this role.
