Overview:
An exceptional opportunity for an experienced S&E Specialist to join the Environmental Health & Safety team.
You will provide technical guidance to the site as well as ongoing projects to ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements related to safety as well as our company's corporate standards, policies, procedures and guidelines and industry best practices.
Requirements Minimum Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or related Safety or Environmental field of study Required Experience and Skills: +5 years of EHS, Engineering, or Operational experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, biochemical, petrochemical, or process related industry Drive to engage others and have excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills Chemical Management and Industrial Hygiene experience beneficial Ability to maintain focus on key goals and priorities, but also analyse the detail to facilitate problem resolution and ensure project success Knowledge and experience working with EHS regulations Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to influence both horizontally and vertically #LI-DM2 Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: SME's support in General Safety and Industrial Hygiene Provide safety support for new material introductions and Project Work EHS representative for risk assessments, training delivery, IH monitoring and report writing Participate in local safety teams, audits and inspections, investigations, and other safety programs as required Serve as a leader in demonstrating and implementing a strong EHS culture across the site The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record to influence others, have strong knowledge of safety programs and be a convincing communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
