IT Project Manager – Co. Mayo/Hybrid
Our client, one of Europe's leading innovators in Retail & Hospitality technology seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be part of the project management team that helps deliver a wide variety of technical projects of varying scope and complexity. This role will have an initial focus on managing delivery of an exciting new cloud-based product.
Key Responsibilities:
• Defining and driving projects across all stages of the project life cycle.
• Working closely with all identified stakeholders and software development teams to gather requirements, plan, track and deliver quality projects in accordance with the organisation's project management standards.
• Collaborating with product owners, Business teams and customers to define the project/product vision and then align upcoming team priorities.
• Leading and facilitating mixed projects teams across the company.
• Engaging with external stakeholders for large scale system rollouts and upgrades.
• Providing effective communications to Senior leadership on the project status.
Requirements:
• Experienced in the main aspects of project delivery including business stakeholder engagement, requirements analysis, scope definition, scheduling, communications, quality, risk analysis and resource management.
• Experienced and familiar with all stages of Software Development Lifecycles.
• Familiar with project management frameworks like the PMBOK and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc).
• PM Certification (PMP or Scrum Master desirable but not essential).
• Exposure and experience in Cloud Computing, Azure environments, Devops and CI/CD would be advantageous.
• Business knowledge and an understanding of IT systems in the Retail and Hospitality industry would be beneficial.
• A flexible, adaptable mindset with a 'can do, hands on' attitude and approach would be required.
• At least 3 years of Project Management experience with a proven track record of project delivery.
• Excellent communication skills.
