Finance Assistant
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our team on a 12-month contract.
Your Role:
* Process invoices and ensure accurate VAT recording.
* Prepare and process supplier payments and employee expenses.
* Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, supplier accounts, and intercompany transactions.
* Manage the finance inbox, responding to queries in a timely manner.
* Post cash receipts and payments, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting with process improvements and supporting the wider finance team as needed.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant role.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
