Our client are seeking a highly motivated, organised and excellent communicator to join their Construction team in Tallaght. The Construction Project Manager will gain responsibility for the management of the construction process from inception to completion. We are looking for someone who can communicate effectively and collaborate in a positive and professional manner with all relevant stakeholders. This is a Client side role.
What you’ll do
6. Developing feasibilities with engineers, architects and M&E consultants to ensure designs comply with the latest building regulations and specifications
7. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to find solutions and ensure that company processes and procedures are followed
8. Appointing, managing and coordination of all contractors, consultants and suppliers involved in the construction development process
9. Preparing and taking ownershi
10. Creating and presenting strategic projects using Powerpoint for approval
11. p of development budgets for new stores across the various stages
12. Providing concise and logical project reporting to internal stakeholders
13. Attending and chairing project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects or tasks continue apace
14. Ability to break down technical matters and explain the outcomes in a clear and logical manner with the support of the Senior Project Managers
15. Proactively seeking opportunities to realise best value through Value Engineering and explore the adoption of sustainability initiatives to support of ‘A Better Tomorrow’ CSR programme
16. Completion of additional tasks will also be required from time to time
What you’ll need
17. Honours degree in either Building Services, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or Construction
18. A keen knowledge and passion for the Construction industry and built environment
19. 1-3 years Construction related experience
20. Excellent administration and organisational skills
21. Strong oral and written communication skills
22. Highly detail-orientated with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
23. Knowledge of general construction processes, contracts and other legal documents involved in construction / property development
24. Proficient IT skills, particularly Powerpoint and Excel
25. Ability to work well and collaborate within a team
26. Confident presentation style
27. Full drivers licence

28. €49,500 rising to €63,000 after 3 years
29. 20 days holidays per annum rising to 25 days after two years
