Job Title: Business Development Manager
Salary: €60k basic with a realistic OTE of €120k
Location: The role is office based in Dublin with expected travel to prospects/clients.
This role offers HUGE potential to a driven and dynamic Business Development Executive looking for a step up, or an existing Business Development Manager looking to join an exciting R&D tax consultancy. A day in the life of a BDM at CBTax:
As a business development manager at CBTax you will use your sales skills and relationship building nous to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
You’ll strategize and prioritise your sales pipeline by leveraging your network and our telesales resources to generate new business. You’ll also lead huddles with the telesales team to keep everyone aligned and motivated.
You’ll spend a significant parts of your day reaching out to potential clients, drawing on your B2B experience to make compelling connections and schedule meetings. Face-to-face interactions are where you truly shine, confidently representing CBTax and addressing questions about our services, prices, and timeframes.
Throughout the day, you collaborate closely with the marketing team, ensuring that your sales strategies are supported by effective campaigns. Managing the client onboarding process is a critical aspect of your role, where your attention to detail ensures a seamless transition for new clients. You also provide timely updates and reports to senior management, keeping everyone informed of your progress.
Efficiency is key, and you continually look for ways to streamline processes using our internal sales tools. Follow-ups and planning are essential parts of your routine, as you reconnect with prospects and set priorities for the following day.
To be considered for the role:
We are looking for someone with a solid background in a business development/sales coupled with strong account management experience and a proven ability to thrive in a target-driven environment. B2B experience is crucial, enabling you to navigate sales processes and close deals effectively.
You are professional, articulate, reliable, and highly motivated. Your interpersonal skills are what sets you apart, allowing you to work comfortably with people at all levels within a fast-paced environment.
Your ability to work autonomously is key, as you will be managing your time and priorities independently. You are methodical, organised, and accurate in your approach, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
A full driving license and a reliable car are necessary for attending prospect meetings and closing deals in person. Additionally, having sector-specific experience and relatable R&D experience will be highly advantageous.
