Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Management Accountant to join the finance team based in North Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
* Provide detailed analysis of variances against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
* Presentation of financial performance reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and business insights.
* Ensure departmental budgets align with business objectives and financial targets.
* Assist in reviewing financial performance against budgets, identifying areas for improvement.
* Tracking and managing operating costs to ensure financial processes are adhered to and costs are controlled.
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements across departments.
* Collaboration with departments to understand their financial needs and provide strategic financial advice.
* Work closely with non-finance stakeholders to develop budgets, forecasts, and support decision-making.
Requirements:
* Finalist or Newly Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)
* A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field is preferred.
* Minimum 3-5 years experience in an accounting role.
* Experience in the automotive, rental, or transport industry is beneficial but not required.
* Proven ability to prepare and present management accounts and financial analysis.
* Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
* Advanced Excel skills, with experience in creating financial models and analysis reports.
* Familiarity with accounting standards and tax regulations in Ireland.
