My client, a leading company based in Galway, part of a well-established European group, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their Galway-based collections team. Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and administer collection tasks for overdue accounts.
2. Communicate with customers via phone, email, and letter to secure payments.
3. Negotiate and agree on payment plans and settlements.
4. Maintain accurate and detailed records.
5. Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Key Requirements:
1. APA certified.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in collections.
3. Strong numerical, negotiation, and communication skills.
4. Proven track record in credit management.
5. Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
6. Financial services experience and familiarity with an automated dialler are distinct advantages.
