About the Role:
Medforce Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Behavioural Therapist to join a dynamic Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Dublin. This rewarding role involves delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support children and adolescents with disabilities, helping them manage emotional, behavioural, and psychological challenges.
As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, and social workers to deliver holistic, family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist assessments and interventions for children with a range of developmental, emotional, and behavioural needs.
* Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based care plans.
* Collaborate closely with families and caregivers, offering guidance and psychoeducation to support children’s mental health.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated, person-centered services.
* Participate in service development initiatives and contribute to quality improvement projects.
* Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in line with professional standards.
Requirements:
* Qualification: A recognized qualification in Behavioural Therapy.
* Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience, ideally working with children or in disability services.
* Registration: Accredited with a recognized professional body (e.g., BABCP, IACP, IAHIP).
* Skills:
o Expertise in delivering CBT to children and adolescents.
o Strong communication and teamwork skills.
o Compassionate, family-centered approach.
