Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Newskies Helpdesk Team Lead to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.
This is an exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operations to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests in the coming years.
The role of a Newskies Helpdesk Team leader based on the Newskies team will be to assist Ops, ground operations, airports, call centers, etc., to ensure smooth running of Ryanair's operations. The role will involve ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to and providing feedback to airports/ground ops/training, etc. This is a permanent position based in our head office in Swords, Co. Dublin.
The team works on a shift pattern of four days on/four days off. The shift times are from 6am to 5pm and 1pm to midnight.
Key duties include:
* Newskies Helpdesk provides telephone and email support for all Ryanair European airports and call centers.
* Sending notifications via our Ryanair App to customers traveling on the day.
* Notifying passengers of cancellations, schedule changes, and travel advisories.
* Updating web notices on Ryanair.com.
* Creating and updating customer communications.
* Creating and editing customer travel advisory videos.
* General administration duties.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
* Previous airline/airport experience would also be advantageous.
* A flexible approach and ability to remain diplomatic and tactful while working under pressure.
* A natural ability in problem solving.
* A proactive approach to dealing with errors/complaints.
* Possession of high-level interpersonal and written skills.
* A good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Personality traits including enthusiasm, flexibility, patience, and ability to work on your own initiative.
