Quantity Surveyor
A Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Contractor in Dublin is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
The successful candidate will prepare cost estimates for all project phases, tenders, contracts, drawings, Bills of Quantities (BoQs), specifications, budgets, and maintain accurate records.
The role involves performing material take-offs prior to purchase requisitions, reporting irregularities or discrepancies to project management, and implementing post-contract duties including measurements, final accounts, and evaluation reports.
The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with the project team to ensure measurements, variations, and contractual matters are properly recorded and notified.
This includes managing subcontractor works, evaluating claims, variations, invoices, and ensuring contractual obligations are satisfied.
The successful candidate will also evaluate quotations obtained from suppliers and subcontractors, preparing and updating material status and procurement schedules.
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering is required, along with 1-3+ years of experience in quantity surveying or mechanical engineering.
