Job Description
We are looking to add a Payroll Supervisor to our Dublin Finance Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which center on our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.
* Ensure day-to-day activities of the payroll team are accurate, of a high quality and in line with internal controls.
* Supervision of a team of payroll specialists responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely payrolls.
* Manage relationships with payroll vendors from preparation through to delivery of all payrolls.
* Review and approve calculations performed by payroll providers.
* Coach and mentor team members to ensure they are trained appropriately, understand processes and follow them accordingly.
* Responsible for all payroll process related audit queries, including the maintenance of SOX documentation.
* Management of all year-end activities.
* Assist the Payroll Managers/Director with ad-hoc project work.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years relevant experience in Payroll.
* Ability to coach and mentor other direct reports and work as part of a team.
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service.
* Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
* Excellent administrative skills, including accurate data entry and record keeping.
* Flexible, willing to take on new challenges.
* Excellent working knowledge of best practices with regard to all aspects of Payroll, with experience of implementing/improving controls and driving efficiencies in a fast-moving environment.
* Proficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite, Expert Excel experience is essential.
