Senior Business Analyst M&A/Service Transition Contract 6 Months
Our client, a leading global firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Business Analyst to work on a number of projects for an initial 6 months with potential for longer.
Role Overview
This role supports one of our client's strategic priorities for growth within the EMEA region by enhancing existing M&A capability and capacity.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist in the investigation, analysis, review, and documentation of business functions and processes to successfully transition acquired businesses and applications into our client's business.
* Take a leading role in the integration of acquired businesses, including system re-brand requirements, data migrations, and development of test plans to support the integration process.
* Support the capture and detailed existing application and digital estate of an acquisition target, including in-depth investigation and subsequent reporting and highlighting of security risks and remediation activity needed to ensure compliance with our client's standards.
* Analyse business operations and processes to identify areas for improvement, gather requirements, document processes, and develop business strategies and plans to improve business performance.
Requirements
* Experience with high-level and detailed requirements definition, comparing the current state with the potential future state (as-is vs. to-be).
* Process modelling and knowledge of systems to propose new solutions.
* Ability to collect, understand, and transmit business requirements for the project and translate these into functional specifications and detailed test plans.
* Knowledge of one of our client's core business systems (Acturis, Stingray, CDL Open TWINS, Relay, IBAIBA & Global XBXB) would be advantageous.
* Understanding of the Insurance business from broking, claims processing, and IBAIBA functions would be advantageous.
* Experience of system decommissions, data migrations, and testing would also be useful.
* Knowledge of one or more formal project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall/Agile).
