About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Assessment and Treatment:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate children’s physical abilities, motor development, posture, and movement patterns.
* Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based physiotherapy treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique needs and goals.
* Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions, including mobility training, posture management, strength and conditioning, and motor skills development.
* Apply adaptive equipment and assistive technology to support mobility and daily functioning.
Requirements:
Essential:
* A Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
* CORU registration or eligibility for registration.
* Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
* A commitment to family-centered care and supporting children with disabilities.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a diverse caseload.
Desirable:
* Experience working with children or young people with physical and/or developmental disabilities.
* Training or experience in posture and mobility management, assistive technology, or early intervention.
* Knowledge of relevant healthcare frameworks and best practices in paediatric disability services.
* A full, clean driver’s license and access to a car (may be required for domiciliary visits).
