Agri Purchasing Coordinator Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Agri Purchasing Coordinator to join our Materials Management team in a leading Irish Agri Coop.
This is a full-time permanent role suitable for candidates from an Agri, Farming, Construction, Hardware or General Stores background.
Main Responsibilities:
* Perform day-to-day store duties at our central store and yard, ensuring a safe, tidy, and proper condition.
* Work with the purchasing manager on the purchase and supply of stock for twenty business units throughout Ireland.
* Maintain stock control duties, updating relevant information live on our Stock management System.
Purchasing Duties:
* Liaise with Managers and stores staff throughout the country on material requirements, pricing, and product changes.
* Issue requests, quotes, and proposals for materials, considering quality, price, and lead time.
* Coordinate shipment and logistics for smooth and timely delivery of goods.
Stock System Maintenance Duties:
* Record all transactions on our IT stock control system.
* Generate purchase orders for centrally held stock and stores throughout the country.
* Maintain and reconcile the Stock System and price database.
Requirements:
* Good IT skills and a hands-on approach.
* Able to work independently as part of a cohesive team.
