Job Description
:
We are looking for a HSSE Manager for our Q3 and Q4 sites in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for all health and safety including, statutory planned maintenance of the 2 sites in Dublin. The successful candidate will be part of a bigger team in the UK, however will be the individual responsible for H&S at our Dublin Sites. This includes but is not limited to the infrastructure which is essential to our quality and safety regulatory compliance.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that both sites are legally compliant, including being aware of legislative changes.
2. Support any civil claims from the sites
3. Ensuring the Quantum business Park sites remain aligned with corporate standards for Health & Safety, crisis management and business resilience
4. Ensuring all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported and investigated appropriately.
5. Ensure all Health & Safety training requirements for the Quantum Business Park sites are met and regularly reviewed.
6. Ensure Health & Safety is an agenda item in all relevant governance meetings and escalate any issues as appropriate
7. Supervision of the Supplier Management Process in conjunction with operational and functional owners.
8. Ensure that suppliers and contractors are supervised and permitted as applicable.
9. To work with the UK&I Technical Services manager to ensure that self-inspections are performed at regular intervals following a pre-arranged program and that necessary corrective measures are put in place.
10. Liaise with Facilities Co-Ordinator to maintain properties planned maintenance schedule to audit scrutiny level.
11. Work as part of the site leadership team to understand and support the operation in all matters related to HSSE.
Person Specification:
12. Be familiar with and understand in country HSSE related legislative requirements
13. Experience of completing and reviewing Health & Safety documentation including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, Corporate Safety Statements.
14. Experience of working with various teams both on and offsite to achieve set targets or goals.
15. Experience of carrying out and facilitating Health & Safety audits of compliance and procedural activities (internal and external).
16. Understand the key principals of facilities management (legislative compliance, PPM & PMC programmes) Support, Documentation, and management reports
17. Manage interaction with multiple departments and 3rd party contractors.
18. Competent with Microsoft Office Packages.
19. Outstanding Organisational Skills
20. NEBOSH General Certificate (or Rep of Ireland Equivalent)
