What's the job?
The Retail Media Partnership Executive drives the success of retail media partnerships by managing vendor campaigns, supporting revenue generation, optimizing processes, and ensuring effective communication between internal teams and external vendors/merchants.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Growth & Onboarding: Actively contributes to the growth of retail media revenue by efficiently onboarding new vendors/merchants and supporting sales initiatives. Scope for management of vendor/merchant accounts as part of development.
2. Campaign Management: Overseeing retail media campaigns from brief to post-campaign analysis, ensuring seamless and timely execution ultimately contributing to increased sales revenue. This involves coordinating with vendors and the retail media advertising team, as well as securing necessary approvals from the buying team regarding promotional mechanics.
3. Stakeholder Management: Provides support to Retail Media Partnership Managers/team by handling and triaging inquiries from internal and external (vendor/merchant) stakeholders, addressing questions related to campaign management, retail media sales inventory, and other partnership activities.
4. Partnership Lead Development: Collaborating with the Retail Media Advertising Executive to represent retail media at key marketing and digital trade planning meetings, generating vendor/merchant leads to expand the retail media program and drive revenue growth.
5. Vendor Communication & Engagement: Contributing to the development and execution of the vendor communication and engagement plan, encompassing webinars, newsletters, and other initiatives.
6. Reporting & Analysis: Tracking onboarding progress and vendor/merchant campaign activity to identify opportunities for revenue optimisation. This includes managing the retail media tracker and reporting.
7. Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing process enhancements to drive efficiency and accuracy within retail media partnerships.
8. Financial Administration: Managing financial processes related to retail media activity, such as raising manual invoices and overseeing the wallet top-up request process with merchants/vendors.
What we need:
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Campaign Management: Proven experience managing campaigns end-to-end, driving revenue growth, and effectively coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
2. Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong, trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to leverage knowledge of the supplier and/or marketplace seller landscape to support sales initiatives, drive revenue growth, and develop successful partnerships.
4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to track key metrics (e.g., onboarding, revenue) and identify opportunities for optimisation.
5. Problem-Solving & Innovation: A proactive and innovative mindset, with the ability to analyse issues from multiple perspectives, generate solutions, and overcome challenges.
6. Teamwork & Collaboration: A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
7. Digital Awareness: Understanding of digital media and onsite channels is desirable.
8. Retail Media Knowledge: Familiarity with the retail media landscape is preferred.
