1. Involved in the day-to-day activities of the finance function.
2. Preparing and reconciling expense related balances such as bank, debtors, creditors, accruals, prepayments and fixed asset
3. Involved in the quarterly Group, Local IFRS and regulatory reporting processes and preparation of the annual financial statements
4. Engaging with other functions with SCOR Dublin regarding finance matters
5. Ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures and ensuing appropriate documentation and support is on file for all elements
6. Assistance in preparation of the financial reporting and related filings of a number of small Irish non-regulated entities.
7. Evaluate current accounting processes and related systems to identify and implement improvements/efficiencies/automation.
8. Participation in both local and Group-led projects as required.
9. Exposure to multiple platforms (e.g. SAP and associated systems and OMEGA), and engaging with multiple stakeholders (e.g. Investment and Treasury colleagues, consultants, Group, statutory auditors)
10. Other duties as may be deemed suitable from time to time.
Required experience & competencies
11. Previous work experience as intern or graduate in finance role.
12. Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to connect with people at all levels

15. Excellent attention to detail
16. Very strong MS office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
17. An understanding of accounting systems.

Required Education
20. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related subject, or equivalent qualifications
21. Working towards an ACCA qualification, or equivalence
