Role purpose:The Systems Risk & Controls team is part of the Global Finance Technology Department working with the various Finance Technology teams to support their adherence to the Flutter governance framework. Working as part of the roll out of the SOX workstream, the team work across controls implementation, assurance and improvements.In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of all BAU Controls and related activities, as well as Audit Management for the various systems under the umbrella of Global Finance Technology. Your team’s overall role is to support the Finance Systems teams through audit and ensure controls adherence to SOX standards, along with other standards such as ISO27001.Main Duties & Responsibilities:Lead Controls oversight for all Finance Systems including maintenance of BAU controls documentation and activities around controls assurance, remediation and implementation.Team resource managementBe the primary liaison for Internal Controls and external auditors for regular control management and audit activities.Implement efficiencies, streamlining, and standardisation with controls where possible.Review all access and change management control assurance processes pre-approval.Support team on planning for audit preparedness and resourcing.Support team on working with Control Owners to drive response to, and action on, audit findings and deficiencies to closure.Drive work across the team on generating and maintaining high standard quality controls documentation.Skills & Experience3+ years audit experience in enterprise environments.2+ years team management experience in a corporate environmentInternal Controls or IT audit experience with knowledge of SOX controls.Understanding of IT General Computing Controls (ITGCs) is a must.Understanding of IT Automated Controls (ITACs) is a nice to have.Organised and have the ability to prioritise: there will be a lot of moving pieces of work due to the systems in scope.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.Ability to build positive working relationships within the business.Behavioural CompetenciesComfortable operating in fast-paced environment, and able to prioritise work.Critical thinker that can think outside of the box and question processes seeing gaps and potential for improvement.Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detailHighly self-motivated self-starter that is able to work on own initiative; but knows when to ask for help.Great team player.Ability to develop and establish strong positive working relationships with the business.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.Ability to influence change at all levels of management.Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) to all levels of management and write meaningful reports and presentations.Join us at Flutter and be part of a world-class company that is constantly pushing boundaries in the gaming and betting industry.
