Your new role:
The Accounts Assistant role is pivotal in maintaining a systematic and efficient accounts receivable process, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. Responsibilities include:
1. Daily banking
2. Cashflow management
3. Credit control
4. Bank reconciliations
5. Petty cash handling
6. Interdepartmental support
7. Intercompany reconciliations
8. Report generation
9. Month-end support
10. Tax filings
11. Payroll coverage
12. Audit preparations
13. Flexibility for accounts payable duties
What you'll need to succeed:
To be successful, you will need to have 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role. Candidates with experience in the construction industry will find it advantageous, and familiarity with ISO9001:2015 is considered beneficial. The role requires PC literacy, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel) and Outlook, as well as knowledge of Sage 50. Additionally, applicants should possess good typing skills to be considered for the position.
