PAM Ireland is currently recruiting for candidates to participate in their 2025 Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Apprenticeship programme, a structured 4-year initiative conducted in conjunction with the College of Further Education and Training Campus and Technology University Dublin (TUD)/ South East Technological University (SETU) Carlow, commencing in September 2025.
This comprehensive programme combines hands-on learning with classroom-based instruction through the College of FET and TUD/ SETU. You will need to commit to four years of dedicated study for your B1/B2 modules, which are intense and demanding. Upon successful completion, you will qualify for a B1 or B2 EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence, enabling you to certify Ryanair's fleet of over 600 aircraft.
Work Environment
You will be based in Shannon, working alongside experienced aircraft engineers in one of our largest engineering hangars, responsible for providing maintenance services to our extensive Boeing aircraft fleet. Additionally, you will gain experience in airframe and avionics and participate in pre-into service checks on new aircraft deliveries from Boeing as we continue to expand our fleet to over 800+ aircraft within the next decade.
Programme Structure
During the initial training phase, you will be required to spend time in Shannon, Stansted, or Bergamo for classroom-based learning and hands-on experience while pursuing your studies at TU Dublin/ SETU Carlow.
