Responsibilities:
* Supervision and associated administration of all Civil/Structural related construction works on site.
* Supervision of requirements and instructions from the Employers Representative (ER), Design Team, Client and Local Authority etc.
* Monitor, measure, inspect and report on works being carried out to the Employer’s Requirements.
* Assist the Employer’s Representative in Technical and Contractual matters.
* Prepare regular site progress reports in conjunction with other site Resident Staff regarding Quality and Programme.
* Review of Method Statements and Contractor’s Engineering works proposals.
* Maintain comprehensive records/diary of work in progress and report on same.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years experience.
* Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or equivalent certification desirable.
* Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, standards, and regulations.
* Have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and a Team worker.
* Can define potential problem issues, collect data, establish, and report on facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations.
* IT skills and familiarity with relevant computer applications.
