Goodwins Build & DIY Products:
We sell to Trade & DIY customers from our 2 stores in Dublin.
Main objective:
Working in our busy purchasing office;
You will be responsible for administering a number of suppliers and products / categories.
Maintain product information and price data.
Ensure website data is up-to-date.
Issue purchase orders and follow up to ensure successful receipt.
Entering goods receipt notes and communicate shortages to suppliers.
Liaise with accounts team to assist with invoicing queries.
Issue cycle counts, investigate variances, update stock records and reports.
Knowledge, Education & Experience:
Education in accounts / purchasing / supply chain an advantage.
Experience of purchasing / goods inward / stock control an advantage.
Relevant & Suitable IT skills.
Product knowledge of building materials an advantage.
Personal Strengths:
Ability to focus and get through productive work.
Attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent numeracy and data entry skills.
Working well in a friendly team.
